- ICO is in its final stages but some things need to be altered. Ico's horns, which so far have always been protruding downwards, are changed to point up and made more bull-like since Ueda is told that in their downwards direction they look too submissive.

- The fight with the giant smokemen that happens right before saving Yorda is cut, the Queen's Sword is added to the final stages of the game and used for the last fight and the confrontation with the Queen.

- The day before the master is delivered Ueda decides to shorten Yorda's hair.

- At the end of development the team is reduced to eighteen people.

- Sony decides to celebrate the game's completion by organising a party at a restaurant in Shibuya, Tokyo.

- Weekly Famitsu reviews ICO.

- Retailers send the figures for the first week of sales.
